The Real You.

Don't you think nobody knows the real you? Your closest friends might know you better than anyone else, but there are certain sides of you that don't come around except when you are alone. You keep some feelings hidden because no one would understand, and even if they did understand, there would not be anything that anyone could do to make the feelings disappear.

You know why is that? It is because you are not perfect. And you don't even need to try to be! Accept it. You have made mistakes. You have taken the easy way out. You have lied to your friends. You have hidden the truth so many times from so many people. You have hurt people and somewhere you did not mean to. You are no better than anyone, anywhere! You are just so human. You have faults. And you are honest enough. You are not afraid to admit that.

Do not change, buddy! You will want to change, but you won't. Because that is what we all do. That is what we have all done. We list our faults like a grocery list, and we move on, expecting everything to somehow change itself. It never will. You will never change. Never be perfect. Mistakes will never end. You will, more often than not, take the easy way out. You will leave people behind. And for the rest of your life do things you don't mean to.

You are not that confident too, like you seem to be! At times all you want is to get held. Held by someone! You love that, don't you? Sometimes you want to talk about what is bothering you. You do want a hug sometimes. Sometimes, you want to be the funniest in the crowd. You get moved when a boy cries in front of you. You know what it is like to see something funny and not laugh. You have been the man of some match, sometimes. And disregarded, sometimes.

You know life is tough. It gets tougher. You also know that life is not that harsh. It has given you happiness that cannot be measured. You are just so very proud of yourself. Because, it is better to be hated for what you Really are, than to be loved for what you are not.

You know the Real You. Don't you?
